I’m back in LA. I actually flew home and surprised my parents since my Mom told us she’d acquired Covid. :( It was a whirlwind trip with a very happy ending… just yesterday, we received the news that she has tested negative and is doing much better. :) It was a massive decision, weighing the risks of travel and potentially getting it myself, but in the end… That’s My Mama! Grateful to all of you who prayed. We are relieved and happy. For more of the story, keep scrollin’…
I ended up taking a much-needed social media break, returning just today. I managed to book some work, including being selected for the Burbank Comedy Festival. And I Go Live again tonight on Facebook at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT.
And above all, you may have heard my voice as I did the Audio Description for Netflix’s hit show, Indian Matchmaking! You do have to go into Settings to turn on the English CC, but there I am, in the midst of it all. Enjoy.
Pretty cool sharing the stage (screen) with some names in comedy…
P&G is hiring me for the 15th time… and I did an internal video for AAA. (Not to be confused with AA.)
Facebook Live - 23 July 2020 (from a hotel in Cincinnati, I update you on Mom)
They’re now being carried on DASH Radio the next day…
I guess people like my voice. Indiaspora hired me to do the voiceover of its video, celebrating our achievements…
The EU looked at Americans and said, “EW.”
Yes, there's something ironic about not being able to do anything on Independence Day.
But if Americans can't go all out for the 4th of July, we can still celebrate the 4th Amendment:
"The right of the people to be secure in their... houses."
Let's be grateful for the freedoms we do enjoy in this great nation.
Despite all of our problems, it's still an amazing place to live.
And in this overtly individualistic country, perhaps a dose of "thinking of others" may go a long way to rebuilding our character.
So... Happy 4th!
My Career in Business Cards.
2000-2004: P&G Purchasing.
2004-2006: P&G Marketing (Tremor).
2006: FIJI Water.
That sums up my millennium.
And yes, 2006 was clearly the pivot.
An entire life spent in Corporate America was not in the... cards.
I’m Back Today. :)

And I gotta be honest… despite the expletive (#NSFW) in his Instagram handle, @f***jerry has been on-point with his good clean fun:
