Welcome
I’m back in LA. I actually flew home and surprised my parents since my Mom told us she’d acquired Covid. :( It was a whirlwind trip with a very happy ending… just yesterday, we received the news that she has tested negative and is doing much better. :) It was a massive decision, weighing the risks of travel and potentially getting it myself, but in the end… That’s My Mama! Grateful to all of you who prayed. We are relieved and happy. For more of the story, keep scrollin’…
I ended up taking a much-needed social media break, returning just today. I managed to book some work, including being selected for the Burbank Comedy Festival. And I Go Live again tonight on Facebook at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT.
And above all, you may have heard my voice as I did the Audio Description for Netflix’s hit show, Indian Matchmaking! You do have to go into Settings to turn on the English CC, but there I am, in the midst of it all. Enjoy.

Yes, there's something ironic about not being able to do anything on Independence Day.
But if Americans can't go all out for the 4th of July, we can still celebrate the 4th Amendment:
"The right of the people to be secure in their... houses."
Let's be grateful for the freedoms we do enjoy in this great nation.
Despite all of our problems, it's still an amazing place to live.
And in this overtly individualistic country, perhaps a dose of "thinking of others" may go a long way to rebuilding our character.
So... Happy 4th!

And yes, 2006 was clearly the pivot.
